A diet is a plan, generally hopeless, for reducing your weight.

A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit, so people say. But weight loss is more a matter of inspiration than perspiration. I am often concerned about the nutritional aspects of a meat free, dairy free weight loss diet. I'm sure many philosophers feel this way, philosophy not being the most physically intensive activity, in fact it was reserved for the aged in Hindu philosophy.
